Avoid the notes that rhythmically spawn to block and push you back from running through the music. Score points by picking up the sharps (♯) and double sharps (double sharp), try to avoid the flats (♭) and use the naturals (♮) to your advantage :P

Scoring enough points will earn you a bronze bass clef, a silver alto clef or a golden treble clef.

Controls:

  • Up - jump up the staff
  • Down - drop down the staff
  • Run left and right
  • Mobile has buttons at the bottom

This game was made in Godot and is using a music manager plugin I made (a work in progress) for the engine.

Ahhh I totally failed at scoring well on this one LOL, but it's pretty good! I like how it lets you practise the controls beforehand (though I didn't discover this until after the first song, haha).

BTW, there seems to be an issue with thin white lines appearing around the bigger notes? And the audio crackled a lot when I played From Stillness Comes Chaos. Other than that, great job!

Thankyou :) Yeah the white lines, it seems the magic wand tool in Pinta misses the edges(?) I didn't want to risk cropping it either. Also if the game lags the music will clip and stutter because it's syncing to the game.

Ah, I see. And you're welcome! Thank you for making this game, it's really well-done.

Ooh that's neat, and hard. The character is cute - kinda reminds me of a cheesy 90s educational game, which is a good bit of nostalgia for me

Randomly, A Train Appears composer? That track was quite ambient and had a nice structure with the less repetitive middle section which helped a lot but I couldn't get the dotted timing to work for it, gonna have to sort my plugin out for that.

That's me! (thank you). Was a fun song to put together

It's haaaaaard ! But well done, it's a great idea !
(It's reminds me of a Rayman level ahah)

Thanks :) It was actually supposed to be easier but long story short, my scene file corrupted, rebuilt it from a backup and didn't realize I forgot to rearrange the array for the notes :/ fun times.

Wow ! Nice work though ! It would have been easy to get discouraged..
